The Resilient Energy Technology and Infrastructure Consortium, led by a team at WVU in collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University, the University of Pittsburgh and over 60 regional partners, has been selected as a finalist Thursday (Sept. 18) for a prestigious $160 million National Science Foundation Regional Innovation Engines award.
Encourage students to honor the faculty and staff who have made a difference in their college education by designing the official 2026 WVU Impact Award medallion, which recognizes employees who go above and beyond for our University. Submissions are due by Oct. 15, and the winner will be announced in early November.
The WVU Purpose Center will host its annual Week of Purpose beginning Monday (Sept. 22). The week will feature a session on “Knowing the Strengths of Our Students” from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 23) or from 11 a.m. to noon Friday (Sept. 26) on Zoom.
