Negri Lamb  

Morgantown native Eleanor Negri Lamb, one of the longest-serving employees in WVU athletics history, has died. Lamb worked an amazing 55 years in collegiate athletics during an impressive career that spanned from 1958-2013.

WVU football coach Neal Brown has announced that Wesley McCormick, a 6-foot, 199-pound, fifth-year senior defensive back from Germantown, Maryland, has signed a grant-in-aid and will transfer to WVU from James Madison University. He will have one year of eligibility remaining.

Collegiate Recovery Serenity Place  

The WVU Collegiate Recovery Program has shifted to its summer schedule, which will remain in effect until the first week of school in August. Serenity Place at Arnold House, 628 Price Street, will be open this summer every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Students, faculty and staff are welcome to drop in during open hours.

Kids Market Passport  

More than 3,300 children are signed up for Kids Market @ The Store, a free summer produce program from the WVU Extension Family Nutrition Program. That’s more than double the number of participants organizers had planned for — so the Family Nutrition Program is hoping to secure additional funding partners to allow interested families to participate.

Creative Arts Center CAC  

The College of Creative Arts has selected its 2022 faculty awards. Each year, the college awards for Excellence in Research and Creative Activity, Outstanding Teacher, Outstanding Service and Adjunct Faculty Excellence.
