The Morgantown Police Department will alter traffic patterns beginning at 5 p.m today (Dec. 6) for the Morgantown Christmas Parade. Parking will also be restricted on High and Prospect Streets beginning at 5 p.m.

The Faculty Senate will meet today (Dec. 6) at 3:15 p.m. The in-person meeting will take place in the College of Law Fitzsimmons Event Hall. A Zoom option is also available for those attending remotely.
Entry into the Mountainlair will be limited to the main first floor front entrance facing University Ave., main second floor rear entrance facing the Mountainlair Green and the garage entrances only. All other doors of the Mountainlair will not allow access from the outside (though they will allow exit from the building in accordance with fire code).
If you are aware of an employee, student worker or student who is struggling with thoughts of self-harm and may be sharing their thoughts through letter writing, poetry or illustrations, please call 911 immediately. You can report anonymously without repercussions. You are key to keeping us all safe.
While the decision was made to keep campus open tomorrow, please know that each of you has the option to move your instruction online if you have concerns about your personal safety. Should you choose to switch to online, please communicate your plans with your students and department chair or dean as soon as possible. Should you choose to hold class in person, we also ask that you be lenient with students who may also not feel safe coming to campus.
The submission form for MOUNTAINEER E-News experienced a spam attack on Friday, Dec. 3. As a result, submissions made on Thursday or Friday were lost and access to the form was limited. Anyone who submitted an item through the form on those dates is asked to resubmit the request.
