The October Arts Walk, a collaboration with First Friday for the Arts, will offer a night of eerie art and music from 6-9 p.m. Friday (Oct. 3) on High Street in Morgantown. The event is costume-friendly.

Semoa De Sousa-Brown, senior academic adviser for the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences Multidisciplinary Studies Programs, was awarded the inaugural West Virginia Excellence in Academic Advising award during the West Virginia State Advising Conference, which WVU hosted virtually.
Sponsored by the School of Medicine Global Health Program, WVU Health Sciences will kick off the week with a keynote address by Dr. Rahul Gupta titled “Health Without Borders: Innovation, Access, and the Future of Global Health” at noon Monday (Oct. 6) in the Health Sciences Center, Room 1905, and on Zoom. Gupta is the former director of White House Office of National Drug Control Policy.
