Faculty, staff and family members are invited to help welcome more than 550 athletes and coaches to the 2023 State of West Virginia Special Olympics Basketball and Cheerleading Tournament on March 11 and 12 at the Student Rec Center and Mountaineer Middle School.

The WVU Land Use and Sustainable Development Law Clinic is improving the quality of life for West Virginians across the state by contributing much-needed local government legal services to communities, while also providing meaningful educational opportunities for law students.
The celebration is designed to recognize the achievements of all faculty and staff members who have published a book, released a CD or produced a full-length work in another medium like art, theater, film, dance or others. To be eligible for submission, the work must have been published, released or produced between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2022.

This recognition is given to the recipient who has best demonstrated outstanding leadership, courage and support on a continuous basis, in the area of social justice within the West Virginia University system.
