Although not yet officially named, Club Mountaineer is a joint venture with Intercollegiate Athletics and Sodexo Operations to provide more premium space at the Coliseum for Mountaineer Athletic Club members.

Efforts to reposition WVU for the future continue through a “First Principles” approach President Gordon Gee outlined in his State of the University address this spring, one focused on students, the University’s land-grant mission and differentiation. Initiated by a charge from the Board of Governors, the work is addressing operational and academic areas of the WVU System and a structural budget deficit.
As part of University efforts to promote a more sustainable future for all Mountaineers, the Office of Sustainability will host its second book recycling collection for 2023 during the week of July 17. The deadline to request a pickup is Wednesday, July 12.

Associate Dean John Hendricks III is retiring after 30 years of service to the College of Creative Arts. A public reception will be held from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday (June 29) at the Canady Creative Arts Center, Mesaros Gallery.
