Health Affairs offers two levels of training. A 10-week introductory course and a 12-week advanced course. The introductory course has two start dates, Aug. 14 and Jan. 8, 2024, and the advanced course begins Sept. 4 and Jan. 8, 2024. The advanced course requires completing the introduction or passing a pre-assessment. Space is limited.

The workshop will be offered in person at the Downtown Library and on Zoom from 1-5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 16. The JARVIS School tutorials and hands-on sessions serve as an introduction to open-access databases and tools for materials design.

Front Line Professionals will meet from noon-1 p.m. today (Aug. 3) in the Shenandoah Room of the Mountainlair. Dean of Students Corey Farris will give an overview of the student move-in process and Welcome Week, and George Yanchak, director of the WVU Hub, will provide an update on important financial aid and billing changes.

An event-packed Welcome Week at West Virginia University begins Thursday, Aug. 10, and continues into the start of the fall semester, Wednesday, Aug. 16, highlighting the many ways new and returning students can tap into their strengths, find their purpose and make a home on campus.
