The opening of the exhibit will be held from 3-5 p.m. today (Sept. 25) in the Okey Patteson Auditorium and the Health Sciences Center Pylons Commons.
Juniors Bella Botero, from Lansdale, Pennsylvania, and Ella Tingler, from Fairmont, will have an opportunity to connect with prospective nursing students to share their insights and experiences.
In rankings released by the U.S. News & World Report, the undergraduate nursing program landed at No. 86 out of the 656 programs ranked, up from No. 93 the previous year.
Broad Street Threads, a career closet located on campus for students, was awarded the mini-grant by Volunteer West Virginia to purchase a hanging rack, hangers, garment bags and plastic bins for clothing. The closet is filled with new or gently used professional clothing donations from faculty, staff, students and community members.
The blood drive will be held in partnership with the American Red Cross on Oct. 11 in the WVU Cancer Institute, Don Hoylman Family Atrium.
