WELLWVU and the Mon County Quick Response Team encourage faculty, staff and students to volunteer for the Free Naloxone Day on Thursday, Sept. 14. Shifts are available at multiple locations around Monongalia County from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m and 2-6 p.m.

The WVU Retirees Association, in cooperation with the American Red Cross, will be holding a blood drive from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26, at the Erickson Alumni Center, Nutting Gallery.
The WVU Faculty Senate Office has received a petition to convene a meeting of the University Assembly for consideration of two resolutions: a Resolution of No Confidence in the Leadership of President E. Gordon Gee and a Resolution to Freeze the Academic Transformation Process.
In accordance with the University’s Background Check Policy, the successful completion of a background check is a condition of employment. Graduate assistants may not begin their positions until their background check is complete and satisfactory results are returned.
Through the program, hundreds of employees have pursued their educational goals.
The campus community is invited to celebrate the start of the academic year with the College of Applied Human Sciences from 3-5 p.m. Thursday (Sept. 7) at the Evansdale Fields.
