The Mountaintop  

West Virginia Public Theatre, in partnership with the College of Creative Arts, will bring “The Mountaintop” to the Canady Creative Arts Center Thursday through Sunday (June 8-11). This stunning drama is a fictional retelling of the last night of civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr.’s life.

Young people ages 12 to 17 are needed for a dissertation research study on decision making. The 60-minute sessions will take place on Zoom and participants will receive a $20 gift card.

Linda Burdette-Good  

Linda Burdette-Good, who died Tuesday (June 6) in Hilton Head, South Carolina, took over a newly formed WVU women's gymnastics program in 1975, and in 37 seasons through 2011, led the Mountaineers to four national championship appearances and 10 conference titles.
