The Department of Psychology is seeking individuals older than 18 to participate in a research study to examine an intervention to increase physical activity in people who are currently physically inactive. Participants must wear a Fitbit for at least 12 weeks and attend two 30-minute sessions in the Life Sciences Building.

Caroline Arantes, assistant professor of wildlife and fisheries resources in the Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design, is working to protect the communities and economies often affected when companies move in to harness a region’s natural resources.
Therapists, psychiatrists, case managers, physicians, nurses and social service providers serving youth in West Virginia are encouraged to share their expertise on what is working and where gaps exist currently.
Participants will have an initial in-person study visit and two virtual visits across pregnancy. They will also be asked to answer online questionnaires and wear movement monitors for one week.
