On Wednesday (Dec. 20), Gov. Jim Justice issued a proclamation declaring a state holiday on Friday, Dec. 22. Since WVU already observes Dec. 22 as a holiday, the University has modified its holiday calendar and will observe this state holiday on Wednesday, Dec. 27. As a result, WVU will be closed on Dec. 27.
