Each year, the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences honors faculty members with its Outstanding Teacher Awards, Outstanding Researcher Awards and the Award for Outstanding Outreach or Public Service. The eight recipients will receive a stipend to help further their efforts.

The University will lead a $1 million National Science Foundation funded effort to drive energy technology and infrastructure, as well as address issues involving decarbonization and grid resiliency, throughout the West Virginia-southwestern Pennsylvania region. The Resilient Energy Technology and Infrastructure team includes WVU, Carnegie Mellon University, the University of Pittsburgh and a host of regional nonprofits, industry stakeholders and government entities.
Researchers and data enthusiasts are invited to join the celebration by attending a series of workshops from Feb. 12-16 that will offer valuable insight and skill building for those interested in working with data.
