Power Lines  

Greg Dahle, associate professor of arboriculture and urban forestry at the Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design, is developing a method — with the help of artificial intelligence — to identify trees at risk of falling on power lines and causing blackouts.

Fan Fest  

WVU fans are invited to enjoy a day of fun at the third Mountaineer Fan Fest, coinciding with the gymnastics and wrestling teams’ Beauty and the Beast Meet, Sunday (Feb. 18) at the Coliseum. The Gold Gate will open at 1 p.m. with Fan Fest activities taking place on the concourse until 2 p.m., the start time for the competitions.

U92 will host its 2024 “Pledge Your Love to the Moose” drive from noon today (Feb. 13) through 11:59 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 14). Tune into U92 to donate and listen to special music, sports and talk.
