Following a special meeting, the West Virginia University Board of Governors has issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking to adopt WVU BOG Governance Rule 1.3 — Presidential Selection, Contracts and Evaluation. The new Rule outlines the guiding principles for the selection, employment and evaluation of the University’s president.
Employees with dependents interested in the 2024-25 academic year application should apply regardless of being previously awarded, as a new application is required each academic year. Fall 2024 applications are due by May 1 and summer 2024 applications are due by April 1.
A new version of Microsoft Teams that makes it easier to collaborate across the main WVU and Health Sciences environments will become the default platform starting Sunday, March 31. Information Technology Services recommends all WVU employees switch to the new Teams, released in January, as soon as possible to become familiar with the differences.
An Open Textbook Workshop and Textbook Review will be held at 10 a.m. April 11 to help instructors explore possible open textbook solutions to this growing financial issue.
