The launch of Slate marks a significant milestone for Enrollment Management and the culmination of months of collaborative planning, testing, training, and problem-solving across countless teams.
Applications, requests for information, events, and associated communications for the 2027 recruitment cycle are now being managed through Slate.
“Over the past year, I’ve watched teams from across the University challenge assumptions, solve complex problems, and build something that will serve students for years to come,” Vice President of Enrollment Management Fabrizio D’Aloisio said. “We didn’t just implement a new CRM, together, we transformed how we think about the student experience.
“Thank you for your resilience, your partnership, and your unwavering commitment to getting us to this moment. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished, and I’m even more excited about where we're headed next.”
What you need to know:
Students applying for 2027 entry terms will now apply through Slate, with the exception of four programs that began accepting 2027 applications earlier this year and will continue using the Salesforce Learner Org application. The following programs will continue following their current application process until further notice:
Undergraduate
Fast Track Nursing
Graduate
Pathologist's Assistant
Medical Laboratory Science
Endodontics
The University will work in two systems during August.
Data migration from Salesforce Learner Org to Slate will begin in mid-August and conclude before the end of the month. During this transition period, staff will temporarily work in both systems.
As a general rule:
2027 applicants should be found in Slate
Applicants from prior entry terms will remain in Learner Org until migration is complete.
Best practice:
Start your search in Slate. If you don't find what you're looking for there, check Learner Org.
We’ll continue to provide updates throughout the migration process, including when staff access to Learner Org will officially end.
Looking ahead:
The work doesn’t stop here. Over the coming months, we’ll continue refining and expanding the platform while supporting staff through additional training opportunities.
Upcoming milestones:
August to September: Head reviewer training
Sept. 1: Undergraduate admission decisions begin releasing
Oct. 1: Graduate admission decisions begin releasing
Oct. 1 to Dec. 31: Continued enhancements, development, optimization, and process improvements
Slate users should be sure to continually check the “Slate Users” Microsoft Teams channel to stay apprised of updates.
While today marks an exciting milestone, it’s also the beginning of the next phase of the work. Every enhancement, improvement, and lesson learned will continue to strengthen the experience we provide to prospective students and the colleagues who support them.
Thank you to everyone who played a role in making this launch possible. Your expertise, patience, and commitment have made an extraordinary difference.
