Talent and Culture’s Leadership and Organizational Development team is introducing 5th Fridays, a new professional development series designed to create space for reflection, connection and learning across WVU.
Offered during months with a fifth Friday, these sessions provide an opportunity for employees to step away from day-to-day responsibilities and engage in meaningful, low-pressure conversations on a range of topics that support individual and organizational growth.
“Culture and Connection at WVU” will be held from 10-11:30 a.m. May 29 in the Mountainlair, Greenbrier Room.
The first session will introduce the series by exploring how culture is experienced through everyday behaviors and interactions. Participants will reflect on their own work environments and consider small, practical ways to positively influence the experience of others.
Register to attend the session.
Sessions will vary in focus and may explore areas such as workplace culture, communication, leadership and connection across campus.
Future sessions will occur July 31 and Oct. 30. More information and registration for these sessions will be provided at a later date.
We hope you will join us as we launch this new series and continue building opportunities for connection and development across the University.
