Learn the basics of seed germination and seedling care while helping us select and sow varieties for the garden during this hands-on seed propagation workshop from 6-8 p.m. Monday (March 30) at the Evansdale Greenhouse.
Participants will also create and take home a seed snail, a fun, space-saving technique that uses repurposed materials and keeps roots tangle-free for easy transplanting.
The WVU Campus Food Garden donates fresh produce to The Rack and other local food pantries throughout the summer and fall, and you’re invited to help us get growing.
Space is limited to 30 participants. Additional registrants will be placed on a waitlist.
