Faculty and staff are invited to submit their projects for consideration as the University’s nominee for the W.K. Kellogg Foundation Community Engagement Scholarship Awards and the C. Peter Magrath Community Engagement Scholarship Award.

The national awards recognize exemplary university-community partnerships that integrate engagement across research, teaching and service while demonstrating mutually beneficial impact.

WVU may submit one institutional nomination.

Projects are being sought that:

     • Reflect sustained, reciprocal partnerships with clearly defined community roles.

     • Integrate engagement into academic and outreach missions.

     • Demonstrate documented impact on both the University and community.

     • Generate scholarship of engagement, including publications, evaluations or disseminated findings.

Submissions are open through March 20.

Find the submission form.

Following the review, one project will be selected to move forward with institutional support for the full nomination.

We encourage you to share this opportunity with colleagues whose work advances the University’s land-grant mission through meaningful community partnership.
