If you weren’t among the nearly 900 people who attended the first Workday in Action webinar, you can watch the January recording via Zoom and review a newly updated and expanded page of Frequently Asked Questions to find out what you missed.

The Workday Business Modernization initiative is part of the WVU Modernization Program, which is reimagining how the University does business. Workday is a modern system that will replace MAP, Applaud and many other systems by summer 2027. It will deliver:

  • A single, powerful platform for most essential HR and finance-related tasks.

  • An engaging, intuitive experience for employees, with expanded self-service features and a predictive search tool that makes things easy to find.

  • Centralized access to accurate, current and reliable data.

Review the full Workday in Action series and register for the Feb. 24 session “Workday-Employee Access.” You’ll learn how easy it will be to access your worker profile, update your contact details, and view your benefits and pay

All Workday in Action sessions will be recorded, and those who register will automatically receive the recording. The webinars are designed to give a sneak peek of the new system. Formal training will begin in spring 2027.
