The West Virginia Agritourism Initiative, a statewide effort led by WVU Extension, will be celebrated at an event that will also include the debut of the Naturally, West Virginia network and website from 12:30-3 p.m. today (Dec. 8) at Evansdale Crossing, 4th Floor.
The two groups work in partnership to strengthen local businesses, preserve Appalachian heritage and share the state’s diverse, authentic farm experiences with visitors.
Attendees will enjoy farm-to-finger foods, networking and conversations about how West Virginia’s farms, vineyards, markets and destinations are shaping a new era of rural tourism.
