Mon Hills Music Group will host “The Encore” showcase, a special event marking 10 years of dedication to study, creativity, collaboration and artistry, from 8-10 p.m. Friday (Dec. 5) at The Encore.
The event will feature live performances by Emily Lehr, Jennifer Cooper and The 2 Sides, all artists who embody the talent and diversity of the Mon Hills Music Group.
"The celebration will mark 10 years of helping students follow their dreams, and if we can continue to build this program, the sky's the limit," said Joshua Swiger, director of Mon Hill Music Group and professor for the music business and industry program at the College of Creative Arts and Media.
Admission is $10 and $5 for students who purchase them prior to the show.
The Encore is located at 720 Powell Ave. in Morgantown.
Mon Hills Music Group was established in 2014 and has provided WVU students with hands-on experiences in the music industry. This student-run organization gives students experiences in performance, production, marketing, management and more.
