WVU Press participating in Mountaineer Week Art & Craft Fair

WVU  Press will offer a wide range of publications for sale this weekend (Nov. 7-9) during the Mountaineer Week Arts & Craft Fair at the Mountainlair.

More than 60 artisans will offer unique handmade items and food beginning at 11 a.m. today (Nov. 7).

Books will include the following and more:

  • "Almost Heaven: How Bobby Bowden’s Ten Years at West Virginia University Helped Him Become One of the Winningest Coaches in College Football History," John Antonik’s entertaining look at the resurrection and modernization of the Mountaineer football program in the 1970s.

  •  "The Accidental Network," alum Rouzbeh Yassini-Fard’s memoir about the creation of the cable modem, a transformative technology that ushered in the era of residential broadband internet.

  • "Epic and Lovely," Mo Daviau’s novel about the high price of fame and self-absorption, and the redemptive quality of facing one’s destiny with courage.
