Faculty Talks series to focus on culturally sustaining pedagogies Oct. 29

The Faculty Justice Network will host Diego Navarro Meza, a doctoral student in the School of Education and Counseling, during its Faculty Talks event from 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Oct. 29, via Zoom.

“From Research to Practice: Exploring Culturally Sustaining Pedagogies” will explore how Meza used strengths-based activities to honor and sustain the cultural identities of his students and make them feel valued in the classroom.

The session will conclude with a Q&A session.
