Share your ideas to help shape University’s future by Oct. 10

Building with fall leaves

Under the leadership of President Michael T. Benson, the University is charting a new course with a “Strategic Compass” — a vision to inspire bold futures and elevate the impact of WVU across the state and around the world.

This draft framework introduces a new mission statement, guiding principles and high-level priorities to guide our University in the coming years.

Many of you have heard about this draft framework directly from President Benson who has shared it during a series of campus presentations.

To ensure every voice in our Mountaineer community is heard, we are encouraging all faculty, staff, students, alumni and other University supporters to participate in the Strategic Compass Feedback Survey.

The survey should take less than 15 minutes to complete. The survey period will close at midnight on Thursday, Oct. 10.

Your feedback is critical.

Faculty, staff, students, alumni, and friends of WVU all play a vital role in shaping our future, and your input will help ensure the Compass reflects the priorities, ideas and ambitions of the entire WVU community.

Once the language in the Strategic Compass is finalized, we will move into the next phase — operational planning — where faculty, staff and students will be actively engaged in identifying the actions that will bring these goals to life.

Together, we can chart the University’s course — and make it happen.

Take the survey.
