The Mountainlair will be experiencing multiple facility impacts over Fall Break to accommodate the completion of various projects.
Front entrance closure
The front entrance of the Mountainlair will be partly closed for new window installation and to install ice breakers along the upper roof Thursday (Oct. 9) and Friday (Oct. 10).
The contractor will complete the work in sections to ensure an ADA entrance and a set of doors at the front entrance will remain open to pedestrian traffic at all times.
Additional way-finding signage will be posted.
Back entrance closure
The back entrance at the top of the grand staircase leading to the rear plaza will be closed beginning Thursday (Oct. 9) to accommodate drain work on the rear plaza. The entrance will reopen once work is completed, likely Friday (Oct. 10). Additional way-finding signage will be posted during the closure to direct users to the nearest entrance/exit as well as the nearest ADA entrance.
First floor men’s restroom closure
The restroom will close at 4 p.m. Friday (Oct. 10) to accommodate replacement of the flooring in the restroom. The restroom will reopen Saturday (Oct. 11) when the building opens that morning. The other restrooms in the facility will be available.
