Be especially cautious of unsolicited job offers via text or text messages, phone calls or emails that solicit your WVU Login credentials.
Legitimate job opportunities for employees are posted to jobs.wvu.edu, while WVU Career Services posts student openings in Handshake.
ITS will never contact you by text to:
Verify your personal or WVU information.
Ask questions about your WVU Login account.
Notify you of job opportunities.
If you do receive a suspicious text, do not respond. You can direct questions to the ITS Service Desk at 304-293-4444 Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on weekends from noon to 8 p.m.
Forward suspicious emails as an attachment to DefendYourData@mail.wvu.edu.
If you have already responded to or clicked a link, or provided any personal information, go to okta.wvu.edu and change your password immediately.
