The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at WVU is seeking volunteer instructors and presenters for the winter term, which runs from Jan. 19 through March 14.
Volunteers include faculty, staff and community members who come from all walks of life, and your expertise, creativity and enthusiasm are welcome.
Designed for adults 50 and older, OLLI offers classes in the arts, history, literature, sciences, math, health and wellness, philosophy and more. Courses usually include one to six sessions and are typically 90 to 105 minutes.
The classes can be delivered in person and/or on Zoom and may be in the form of lectures, discussions and workshops.
OLLI members are engaged, enthusiastic learners from around West Virginia and the surrounding area.
With no tests or grades, OLLI is teaching for the fun of it.
