To minimize the risk of compatibility issues, employees and students who use personally owned Apple computers for study or work should avoid installing the newest operating system, macOS Tahoe.

Information Technology Services will be testing macOS Tahoe with systems and services over the next month and will announce when it is safe to update your personal machine.

The upgrade to macOS Tahoe will be delayed for all WVU-owned computers and users should not attempt to update those machines.

If you have already installed macOS Tahoe on your personal machine and encountered problems, contact the ITS Service Desk for assistance at 304-293-4444.
