Volunteers are encouraged to dress in their gold and blue gear and join “The Mountaineer Mission: Clean & Gold” from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday (Sept. 14) throughout the Morgantown community.
The event aims to unite the campus community and city residents in a shared mission of civic pride.
Volunteers will check in and select one of five cleanup zones at Courthouse Square, 243 High St., beginning at 10:30 a.m.
“The city is excited to welcome WVU student organizations and community groups to join us in this event, bringing together University and city residents in a shared spirit of civic pride and collaboration,” said Caitlyn Lewis, City of Morgantown community development services director.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity to build connections, make a visible impact, and celebrate the strength of our community through collaborative partnerships.”
