Economic and business researchers from the John Chambers College of Business and Economics are invited to attend a presentation on how to use The Conversation U.S. platform for academic journalism to communicate their research and expertise with the public.

The lunch-and-learn presentation will be held from 12:30-1 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 9) on Zoom.

The Conversation U.S. helps researchers translate their work into stories that enable everyday Americans to make sense of the headlines and the world around them, then brings those stories to thousands of news readers.

Director of the Office of Research Communications Micaela Morrissette will explain the platform’s mission and process, and how her team helps WVU scholars pitch their story ideas.

The presentation is hosted by Strategic Communications and Marketing and the Chambers College Strategic Communications Office.

Register to attend.
