It’s almost that time of year again. Thousands of students, some new and some returning, will be filling our campus with a renewed energy to start the academic year.
At Welcome Week, your role is more than just logistical support. When you suit up in your Welcome Week T-shirt, you become a face of WVU. It’s your moment to show students what it means to be a Mountaineer — warm, helpful and full of pride.
Whether you’re greeting students or giving directions, every interaction matters. Your presence creates the welcoming, supportive environment WVU is known for.
So, stand tall and bring your Mountaineer pride. This is more than an event — it’s a chance to make students feel at home, one connection at a time.
We hope you will consider volunteering for Welcome Week again this year.
