Employees who use wvOASIS must activate new account due to login transition

computer laptop

Effective Thursday (July 31), wvOASIS will transition from myApps to a new single sign-on application called OneLogin. WVU employees who use these systems must act now to activate their new account under OneLogin.

This change will only affect how the applications housed in wvOASIS are accessed.

Users who need to access PCard training, ethics training, Notices or Vista will see a myApps icon under OneLogin to continue to access these applications.

This change will affect approximately 3,000 WVU employees, primarily PCard holders and key personnel who work in wvOASIS.

To activate your wvOASIS account using OneLogin, please follow these steps:

  • Visit the new log-in page at https://wvoasis.onelogin.com/portal.

  • On the log-in page, click the “Forgot Password?” link.

  • Enter the email address you used on MyApps.

  • Check your email for a password reset email and follow the link to set your new password.

  • Then, log in with your new credentials.

After you log in, you will be required to select an authentication factor. OneLogin recommends selecting two authentication factors — one primary and one backup. After creating the first authentication factor, you can navigate to the Profile menu to set up additional authentication factors.

Moving forward, employees should only use the OneLogin link to log in. Update any web bookmarks accordingly, as the myApps system will be decommissioned on July 31.

Following the transition to OneLogin, users will no longer be logged out after 30 minutes. Instead, the timeout will be extended to four hours.
