Main Street Morgantown will help transform downtown Morgantown into an open air gallery, featuring local artists and makers displaying their work throughout the downtown district from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 10 on High Street in Morgantown.
Visitors can enjoy various art forms including paintings, jewelry, photography and handcrafted goods while exploring downtown businesses.
Participating businesses with downtown storefronts will offer special promotions during the event, including Tanner’s Alley Leather Design Studio’s “Spin to Win” feature for attendees of the Spring Arts Walk.
The season features seven themed events running from May through November, celebrating the vibrant arts culture of the region, will also include the following:
Pride in Our Community Arts Walk — June 14 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Summer Arts Walk — July 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m
Dog Days of Summer/Back to School Arts Walk — Aug. 9 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Pep Rally Arts Walk — Sept. 12 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Halloween and Cryptid Creatures Arts Walk — Oct. 3 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Local for the Holidays Arts Walk — Nov. 7 from 6 to 9 p.m.
