Celebrate Graduate Student Appreciation Week

Graduate Student Appreciation Week

The Office of Graduate Education and Life welcomes graduate students and the WVU community to celebrate Graduate Student Appreciation Week beginning today (April 7) through Friday (April 11).

Graduate and professional students can attend social and wellness activities that show appreciation for their contributions and impact, which include free professional headshots, workshops, outdoor recreation events, snacks and swag stations, and more.

View the full lineup of activities.

Graduate students are also encouraged to participate in the daily GSAW Trivia Challenge on the Graduate Education and Life social media accounts. All correct answers submitted through direct messaging will be entered into a raffle to win prizes — from gift cards to dining points.

Participants can play GSAW trivia @wvu_ogel on Instagram and @WVUGradEd on X.

GSAW celebrates graduate and professional students and their determination, resilience and commitment to higher education and the University. In providing invaluable services to WVU through their teaching, research and service, these students work hard, make sacrifices and overcome challenges on the path to earning an advanced degree.

Help us celebrate by recognizing graduate and professional students in class, during labs, on social media, in newsletters or through fun activities.
