The five speakers will present talks that spark deep discussion and connection surrounding the “Ignite Curiosity” theme during the 2025 TEDxWVU at 2 p.m. on March 8 in the Mountainlair Gluck Theatre.
The event will feature talks by the following:
Laya Chennuru, a junior majoring in neuroscience and psychology, will present “Train Your Brain: Cultivating an Attitude of Gratitude.”
Ian Israelson, a doctoral student in the Davis College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, will present “To Thine Own Self be True: Honor Your Inner Child and Unlock Your Potential.”
Morgan Marquart, board-certified laboratory scientist and WVU alumna, will present “Diagnosis — Behind the Scenes of Medicine.”
Tara St. Clair, program director for the Encova Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Chambers College of Business and Economics, will present “Igniting our Future, From Sparks to Flames, Ideas That Burn Bright in West Virginia.”
Joe Woods, founder of 1863 Media and a business manager and lecturer in the Davis College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, will present “Community is Everything! We’ve Forgotten How We’re Meant to Live.”
