Office of Sustainability seeks feedback on University sustainability goals

The WVU Office of Sustainability invites the campus community to provide feedback on its proposed sustainability goals.

Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to review the proposed sustainability goals and participate in the anonymous survey to provide feedback which will be used to identify opportunities for changes and improvements before finalizing the goals.

Complete the survey by 5 p.m. Sept. 20.

Throughout the coming years, the University will undertake several initiatives to reduce waste, protect land and water, and reduce its energy footprint on the Morgantown Campus. With your feedback, these goals will aid the University in its mission to continue to address global climate change.

“We’ve made great progress in recent years to operate more sustainably at WVU and these goals are the next iteration of our commitment,” Traci Knabenshue, WVU Sustainability director, said.

“Now, we want to incorporate feedback from students, faculty and staff into these goals so that we have a clear direction for the next 10 years.”
