Commuter Student Programs welcomed both new and returning students to campus while engaging in various Welcome Week activities.
During these events, students learned about resources and other services, navigating campus life and staying connected with peers.
President Gordon Gee welcomed more than 90 incoming commuter students during the second annual Commuter Kickoff at Blaney House Aug. 14. Students reported enjoying connecting with fellow commuters while meeting the Mountaineer mascot and learning about some of the exciting opportunities offered by the Division of Student Life, including Project 168 and Adventure WV.
Commuter Student Programs also hosted a series of engaging events, including a virtual meet-and-greet, campus tours and free Kona Ice. Additionally, students learned about the Commuter Student Association and many other student organizations by attending the Student Organization Fair.
Students were also encouraged to relax in the Commuter Lounge located in E. Moore Hall and participate in events throughout the year.
