Beginning Wednesday, July 31, the University will distribute Notice of Appointment letters for the 2024-25 fiscal year to eligible non-classified staff, faculty and faculty-equivalent/academic professionals.
Similar to previous years’ processes, the letters will be distributed electronically via the Blue system, which is the same platform used in the performance review process for staff.
Eligible employees will receive an email to their WVU account from NoticeofAppointment@notify.wvu.edu with instructions on how to access their appointment letters for the 2024-25 fiscal year.
The letters will include the following elements:
Employee name,
Department name,
Employee title, and
Employee contract dates.
Faculty and staff will be asked to review their base salary information in the Applaud HR system. View these instructions on accessing your salary information in Applaud.
Importantly, faculty and staff are required to electronically sign their appointment letters within 10 business days of receipt.
Employees may choose to print a copy of their appointment letters for their records.
As with prior years, faculty and residents employed by the School of Medicine will be excluded from the University’s notice of appointment process and will receive their appointment letters through the standard method.
