To connect any mobile device to the WVU.Encrypted or eduroam wireless networks after 7 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, you will need to accept a new security certificate. This DigiCert certificate is safe to install and will only need to be accepted once.

Generally, the prompt will appear as a pop-up. When you receive the prompt will depend on when you next connect to the on-campus Wi-Fi.

ITS is making this change between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m. July 3 to ensure continuation of a secure wireless connection. During this time, Wi-Fi service may be affected. This change applies to all campuses, including the Health Sciences Center, Beckley and Keyser.

If you do not return to campus until August, you may not see the change until then. You may also need to update your WVU.Encrypted password with your current WVU Login password, which may have changed over the summer.
