Karen Culcasi, associate professor of geography in the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences, is the recipient of the 2023 Meridian Book Award for Outstanding Scholarly Work in Geography, an award from the American Association of Geographers.
Culcasi’s book, “Displacing Territory: Syrian and Palestinian Refugees in Jordan,” presents a response to the global crisis of forced displacement.
