Career Services to host two Career and Internship Fairs this week

Career Fair

In collaboration with the John Chambers College of Business and Economics Center for Career Development, the Business and Communications Career and Internship Fair will be held Wednesday (Feb. 14).

Additionally, the Behavior and Social Sciences Career and Internship Fair will be held Thursday (Feb. 15).

Both will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Mountainlair Ballrooms.

The Business and Communications Career and Internship Fair is perfect for students seeking employment and networking opportunities in fields such as accounting, management, marketing, supply chain management, journalism, communication studies and sports management. More than 85 companies, including KPMG, Target and Walgreens, will be participating in the event.

We thank our event sponsors Aldi, Insight Global, MegaCorp Logistics, Nemacolin, and our backpack station sponsors, CohnReznick and Northwestern Mutual.

Meanwhile, the Behavior and Social Sciences Career and Internship Fair is ideal for students interested in social work, education, criminology, psychology and sociology, among others. Over 35 companies, including the FBI and many school districts, will be in attendance. Transformations Care Network is the Behavior and Social Sciences backpack station sponsor.

To accommodate prospective employers, downtown parking spaces on Prospect, North High, North Spruce and Fife streets will be reserved, along with some parking spots in the Mountainlair Garage.
