Two-day STEM Career Fair scheduled this week

Stem Career Fair

WVU recognizes the importance of providing students real world opportunities to gain experience and kick-start their careers. As a result, WVU Career Services has created a customized approach to help employers find the right students for internship, full-time and part-time opportunities.

The STEM Career Fair will merge with the Agriculture and Natural Sciences Career Fair and be held as a two-day event to maximize insights from student and employer feedback and recruiting data.

The new format will better support employer recruiting needs and encourage student engagement with all attendees, as many student majors overlap across multiple industries. These events provide an opportunity for WVU students to meet with potential employers from various industries and learn about opportunities for internships and full-time jobs.

The fair will feature civil engineering, agriculture and natural resources Wednesday (Jan. 31) and engineering, science, technology and manufacturing Thursday (Feb. 1). Both fairs will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Student Recreation Center.

In collaboration with the colleges, we thank the following sponsors: Whiting-Turner, Altec, Schaeffler and A.L.L. Construction, Inc.
