New form for access to Argos and Banner-related services launches next week

ITS is streamlining the form used to request access to Argos and Banner systems.

Starting Thursday, Dec. 21, the new form at it.wvu.edu/help will speed up access by eliminating a burdensome approval process. 

Managers and institutional data stewards who need to give new employees access should use the new Onboarding-Student Applications form (WVU Login required) for Argos (STAR Reporting), Banner, Banner Workflow and Banner Document Management System (BDMS). 

This will replace the current “Banner Onboarding” form in the IT Help Center, as well as a form previously available in the SSM Web application, which is being retired in 2024. 

While any WVU employee can submit the new form, access to these resources is determined by your role. The system will automatically deny the request and cancel the ticket if you are not entitled to the data or approved by the data owner.
