Reserve your spot for WVU Planetarium annual holiday show

Season of Light

“Season of Light” will be offered at 6 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, at the Planetarium located on the top floor of White Hall. 

The show will explore the reasons humans are fascinated with lighting up their lives during the December holiday season and the astronomical meanings behind seasonal traditions, including the "Star over Bethlehem.” 

The show not only recounts the Christian and Jewish historical religious and cultural rituals practiced during the time of winter solstice but also Celtic, Nordic, Roman, Irish, Mexican and Hopi.

The show is open to all ages. 

Reservations are required as capacity is limited.
