As part of Diversity Week, the panel discussion will feature themes around the play “Anatomy of a Suicide” at 6:30 p.m. Thursday (Sept. 21) at the Canady Creative Arts Center. Showtime is 7:30 p.m. in the Gladys G. Davis Theatre followed by a reception.
The panel discussion will feature community and campus leaders in mental health wellness and similar focus areas.
The play explores stories of three generations of women. Their lives play out simultaneously in staging periods from the 1970s, 2000s and 2030s, exploring their complex inner states via their emotional, intellectual and physical devastation.
The event is co-sponsored by the WVU Council for Gender Equity and Department of Theatre and Dance.
