WVU departments and units that plan to hire student workers or Federal Work-Study students for fall positions are invited to participate in the Back-to-School Job Fairs hosted by WVU Career Services as part of Welcome Week.
The first fair, open only to hiring WVU units, will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 15, and the second fair, open to WVU and local employers, will be held from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23. Both fairs will be held in the Mountainlair Vandalia Lounge.
Supervisors with positions eligible for Federal Work Study or non-Federal Work Study are required to post student employment opportunities in Handshake. Handshake is the WVU career management system used to search and apply for all types of employment that all students can access using their WVU ID to log into the system.
