West Virginia University Institute of Technology will officially open the U.S. Rep. Nick Rahall Congressional Archive with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. Wednesday (Aug. 2) in Beckley.
The Beckley archive site includes a selection of photos and records spanning Rahall’s 38 years representing the Mountain State in the U.S. House of Representatives.
The bulk of the Rahall archives are housed at the West Virginia and Regional History Center in Morgantown.
The formal program will take place at the Robert C. Byrd Learning Resource Center, 313 S. Kanawha Street, Beckley, which is located across the street from the archive site.
