Faculty encouraged to mentor undergraduate research apprentices

WVU faculty research mentors are encouraged to mentor burgeoning first- and second-year undergraduate researchers through the introductory-level Research Apprenticeship Program.

RAP is a two-semester program that allows students from all majors with limited or no research experience to gain course credit and use federal work-study funds to work as research apprentices with faculty. 

First- and second-year students are especially encouraged to schedule an appointment with the Office of Undergraduate Research to learn how to enroll
