Two West Virginia University Board of Governors Rules and associated documentation have been posted online today (May 22) for public comment.
The BOG has issued a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking to potentially amend:
· Proposed BOG Faculty Rule 4.7 - Reduction in Force
· Proposed BOG Talent and Culture Rule 3.9 - Reduction in Force
In addition, the Proposed Faculty and Classified Staff Severance Package Schedule, which relates to both BOG Faculty Rule 4.7 and Talent and Culture Rule 3.9, has been posted online for public comment.

The Rule revisions and associated documentation will be posted for public comment for 30 days beginning today and ending at 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, June 21.
All public comments received will be posted on the University’s policy website. The Rules and related documentation may be changed, subject to comments received. The comments, or summary thereof, will be posted for 10 days prior to the BOG taking final action.

Any member of the public can comment on these proposed Rules, as well as the associated documentation.
