Staff, faculty invited to ‘Budget 101’ Campus Conversation

Staff and faculty are invited to attend a Campus Conversation on Wednesday, May 3, designed to provide an overview of the University’s budget process.

This virtual “Budget 101” event will begin at 11 a.m. via Zoom. The webinar will go live approximately 10 minutes before the conversation begins.

Following a presentation outlining basic budget processes and structure, participants will have the opportunity to submit questions as part of a live Q&A session. 

The panel will include:

  • Rob Alsop, vice president for Strategic Initiatives

  • Paula Congelio, vice president and chief financial officer

  • Dixie Paletta, chief budget officer

  • Barbara Weiss, senior associate vice president of Finance

Questions may be submitted before the event to campusconversations@mail.wvu.edu.  

Capacity for Zoom webinars is limited to 1,000 attendees, but an archived recording will be available for viewing after the live event at the Campus Conversations web page.
